Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is a thinner, silicone adhesive foam dressing designed for lightly exuding wounds and for patients with fragile or sensitive skin. It combines a soft hydrocellular foam core with a gentle silicone adhesive border, ensuring secure placement while minimizing pain and trauma during removal. The breathable, waterproof, and bacteria-proof outer film provides protection against external contamination and allows patients to shower with the dressing in place. Its slim, flexible design makes it comfortable to wear, even on awkward body areas, while maintaining a moist wound environment to support natural healing.

PREPARATION
Wash hands before and after treating the wound. Gently clean the wound and the surrounding skin with clean water and remove any visible dirt or debris. Clean and dry the skin surrounding the wound and clip any excess hair close to the wound. Ensure the absorbent pad area covers the entire wound or area to be protected before applying the dressing. Open the pouch by peeling apart the flaps. Remove the dressing. Start to remove the backing paper from the dressing. Anchor the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin. Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the remaining backing paper. Ensure the dressing is flat to the wound, free from creasing and has adhered all around the wound. The dressing may be repositioned as required.
